Distance Matters — Weapon Range and Positioning

Combat just got deeper. Every weapon now has a range stat, and your position on the battlefield determines who you can hit.

At the start of each battle, fighters are placed at a distance based on their weapon's range. Close-range weapons like knives put you right in the action. Long-range weapons keep you safely back — but you might need to close the gap to reach certain enemies.

Can't hit your target? Step forward. Each round you can choose to move closer, but that also brings you into your opponents' range. It's a constant trade-off between safety and aggression.

Check the distance indicator next to each enemy to plan your moves.
